Job Summary:

The Contracts Administrator 1 assists the Contracts Administrator 2 and 3 as needed throughout the contract process, serves as backup customer support during vacations and sick leave, and completes special projects at the request of Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  1. Enters final purchase order data in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  2. Performs other Contracts Administration duties at a level appropriate to individual skill and knowledge, as required to support Department workload.
  • Completes special projects at the request of Management.
  • Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:

              Required:

  1. Highly accurate and efficient alphanumeric data entry skills
  2. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

  1. Use of computer keyboard and mouse, and multi-line phone.

Work Environment:

  1. Primarily shared office environment.
  2. The Contracts Administrator 1 may be required to enter the machine shop environment at times throughout the work day; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc.
  3. Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives, and other chemicals may occur.
  4. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required. 
  5. Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy.
