Job Summary:
The Contracts Administrator 1 assists the Contracts Administrator 2 and 3 as needed throughout the contract process, serves as backup customer support during vacations and sick leave, and completes special projects at the request of Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enters final purchase order data in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Performs other Contracts Administration duties at a level appropriate to individual skill and knowledge, as required to support Department workload.
- Completes special projects at the request of Management.
- Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:
Required:
- Highly accurate and efficient alphanumeric data entry skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Demands:
- Use of computer keyboard and mouse, and multi-line phone.
Work Environment:
- Primarily shared office environment.
- The Contracts Administrator 1 may be required to enter the machine shop environment at times throughout the work day; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc.
- Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives, and other chemicals may occur.
- Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
- Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy.
