Job Summary:
The Partmark/Packaging Clerk applies customer specified identification to manufactured parts. These duties are managed and performed as directed by the specific requirements of the Customer, within approval guidelines and procedures established by the Materials Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes jobs using supplied queue reports and customer due dates.
- Unpacks, sorts, counts and verifies product to drawings and/or applicable paperwork.
- Identifies (Partmarks) parts per Manufacturing Order and Customer specifications.
- Packages parts for storage in Finished Goods Stores per customer requirements.
- Maintains Hazardous Materials Cabinet and performs monthly inventories/audits.
- Utilizes personal computer in a network environment to update status of Manufacturing Orders and run queue reports.
- Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to adhere to a flexible and demanding schedule that may result in short days, short-notice unscheduled overtime, or additional weekend shifts.
Education, Skills and Experience:
Preferred:
- One year experience in Shipping and Receiving.
- High school diploma.
Physical Demands:
- Standing and walking throughout the work day.
- Lifting up to 35 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The Partmark/Packaging Clerk is required to enter the warehouse and/or machine shop environment at times throughout the work day; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc.
- Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
- Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy.
- Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives, and other chemicals may occur.
